Random Tea Night

My friends texted me for another random night.
These are the nights wherein we can't do anything except to just hang out and laugh.
First, we visited Sam and my bestfriend. We were so happy to see Sam again. She gained weight. Yaaay! We had dinner at their place and planned for another random night.
Second, as expected, we head to the nearest Milk Tea shop.

Her Not-So-9-Months of Pregnancy

Yes my bestfriend gave birth last Thursday, May 17, to a beautiful baby girl. Will make another blog post about baby Sam in the future. First, I'll blog about how we discovered that she was pregnant.

NOVEMBER: My bestfriend asked me to accompany her in the Ob-gyne (not that she knew she was pregnant already but because women our age are suppose to have their visit with a gynecologist). I accompanied her on Friday afternoon. Her Ob asked her to have her ultrasound the day after, so she had her scheduled ultrasound the next day.
Dinner after her check-up.
That time we still don't have any idea that she's soon to be mommy.

Milk Tea Mania

Another random Milk Tea night. Thank God for milk teas, they taste good and healthy (most especially if you choose not to put sugar on your drink). Infinitea is so cozy; perfect for studying, hanging out with friends and your me-alone-time. They are also affordable. I guess me and my friends will be doing some Milk Tea Hopping. Read here for our first tea moment.

Bucket List: Fly A Kite

Bucket List No. 12: FLY A KITE.
Thanks to my supportive friends (Malyn, Faye and Bry) who made this possible. This wasn't planned at all, we were just lying on our mat when we saw one kite at the sky. Bry told Faye that he wanted to buy a kite and I told them that I wanted it too because its on my bucket list and that I didn't get to do it during my childhood. Hurrah!! We have that little blue kite and another one got ticked off my bucket list. Have a look here.

Escape From Our City Life

I've always been a city girl; born and raised in the city. Living in the urban area have its perks but most of the time it can be a source of stress. My friends and I decide to have a little break from city life. Escaping from our routine is healthy once in a while (though it wouldn't hurt to escape the city stress everyday; the thing is our savings would be greatly affected).

Tiendesitas x Cha Dao Tea Place

This happened the same day we had dinner for the birthday celebrants. The night is young and we thought we could go to some other place. Very random, Bryan thought of Tiendesitas. We're almost there when we saw sparkles in the sky. Fireworks! We just took a moment to scan some pet shops and I think Milo was the one who enjoyed the place. Lots of cute pups there. To know more about Tiendesitas

Eury & Malyn's Birthday Dinner

Roughly two and a half weeks after Malyn's birthdate and one day before Eury's birthdate, My friends texted me and told me that we're going to have an early dinner. Good thing, I was free at that time. When we met at the mall, everyone's undecided as to where we will eat. I don't know how they come up with pizza and pasta but I'm glad they did cause I've been craving for the past couple of weeks..

She's my Soul Sister

Have you ever had that one person whom you can go nuts with; a person whom you can tell all your nonsense stories and crazy antics; a person whom you can act silly and not pretend to be normal at all; a person whose there on your PMS-ing time; a person that never judges you no matter how crazy you can be? Well, I have! She's my soul sister. My bestfriend -Malyn.
Every girl has that one person she can totally trust about her first crush, about that boy next door, about that girl who was trying to steal her future boyfriend and about her secrets. That person is called BESTFRIEND.

Timmy's Birthday Celebration

Timmy celebrates her 24th birthday with her highschool friends. I am so glad that I was invited to her celebration. It was a simple dinner at Miko's house. After dinner, we went on a roadtrip to Antipolo to fetch Chay. What I'm looking forward with this night was seeing Anna again. She went with her son and husband. I miss her so much!

Sparks Fly

The 3rd Philippine International Pyromusical Competition
There's always a kid in us that gets all excited whenever a fireworks shoot at the sky.
My friends and I were so excited to witness a pyromusical competition. We decided to go on its last day. While we are on our way, a lot of things happened. We got stuck in traffic so we came in late, we have to parked so far that we need to walk a lot. Because of that, we didn't get the chance to watch Italy's performance. When we got to the place, we waited for a little while and Philippines started their exhibition. It ended for a while for some problem(s). Good thing, we didn't left. We waited for a little while and it was worth the wait. Philippines really did a great job. Two thumbs up!

Mega 4D Rider

This wasn't part of our to-do-activities in Manila Ocean Park, but the twins were into this and so yeah-yeah-let's-do-this-thing happened. The five of us tried this and since bez is pregnant she wasn't allowed to ride but kuya let her inside and gave her a pair of 4d glasses. It sucks to be see your friends having a good time but the cool thing is she didn't even need to pay. Thank You, Kuya :)
The whole adventure wasn't scary at all. The problem is, I keep on slipping so I have to balance myself all throughout. It was funny actually. Ian, me and Eury sat on the first row, while Bry and Faye were on the back.
The thing is it is fun cause you get to do it with your friends. Did I mention that there's a camera so people outside can see you? How embarrassing! But all they can see and hear are us laughing.

Fish Spa

My friends and I went to Manila Ocean Park and we are all excited to try the famous Fish Spa. We are used to the normal foot spa and foot scrub, but this experience put it to the next level. Another good thing is it is very affordable. Yay! Fish eats your feet's dead skin cells for the healthy skin to grow. I don't know what kind of fish they are but after this experience I want to bring home at least five of them.
I was so anxious at trying this because fishes can be ticklish. Eury was the first one who dipped his feet in the water and he laughed. When they all tried it, they can't tolerate it and all went to giggled. Yes, we are the noisiest group there.
The thing is there are forces that keeps on preventing my feet on getting wet haha! I just can't do it! All they say is "Mau, try mo isang paa muna." but I can't. And bits by bits I am getting used to it and I enjoyed it. Though, I lift my feet when I can't tolerate the tickle. I think they (the fishes) are mad at me cause when they are on the verge of enjoying my feet's dead skin cells, I lift my feet off the water.
fishy!

Bucket List: Ride A Boat

Bucket List No.11 RIDE A BOAT
My family wasn't the let's-get-out-of-town- type of person. We rarely go somewhere and if we do they make sure it is by land. So my bucket list consist of this shallow ride a boat dream. It actually happened :) I was scared, excited and happy when me and my friends are about to get inside the boat. Scared because the waves are big. Excited and happy 'cause I know another to-do-before-I-die has been ticked off my list and it was a brand new thing for me. I wasn't totally scared about the waves 'cause I know my friends will save me :) No trust issues!

Bucket List: Feed A Bird On Your Hand

I've never fed any animal ON my hands especially birds. Zoobic Safari lets you feed their lovebirds. Faye, bez and I tried this and we were so amazed. It was this one-of-a-kind experience to feed birds on your own hands. We have to put birds' food on our palm and leave it open until birds will come to eat. I am the first one to have birds on my hand. Three birds ate on my hand. When all the feeds are gone, birds bite my palm but it wasn't painful. It was like someone's pinching you.
This wasn't on my bucket list and I was like "Why is this wasn't on my bucket list?" But I am glad that I've experienced it before I put it on my bucket list.

Travel: Weekends at North

We seldom do this. Ooops! Scratch that, we NEVER did this. Me and my highschool friends always spend our summer together at 9Waves. We stay there overnight and we go home with happy faces. But that WAS our summer during our teenage?college years. So this is something new for us and we are all excited about our weekend (Feb 18-19, 2012) getaway. Zambales here we come! This was Faye and my pre-birthday celebration :) (She celebrates her birthday on the 21st of February; I celebrate my birthday on the 22nd)
I didn't know what to pack 'cause I had no idea what will we be doing on our getaway and how long will we be there so I just pack all my essentials.

Bucket List: Bowl a Bowling Ball

Bucket List No. 6 BOWL A BOWLING BALL
I always wanted to try and play bowling but I am afraid of many things. First, I know myself as the non-sporty-chick and the thought of this game gives me chills. I am afraid that the moment I walk near the lanes. I might slipped. Yeah, talk about clumsiness. But, hey, I didn't! Second, I don't have any idea on how to play. How to roll the ball. How to carry it. But, I discovered that it didn't matter. Just get your butt out there and people won't care whether you hit the pins or not. What matters is that you had fun!

September 8, 2011: Ate Miko introduced me this game. She and her brother were my first companion in my attempt to roll the bowling ball to the gutter. Haha! Thanks ate Miko for the treat <3
My first attempt.  There's always a first time :)
