What my mom taught me?
- She's taught me to pray and ask for God's guidance.
- She taught me to continue doing the things I'm good at.
- She taught me that it is okay to have fun and but know my limitations.
- She taught me to read once in a while to feed my brain with knowledge.
- She taught me or give me good advice. (Ma, how do I dispose this body?)
- She taught me to wait for the good things to come and pray for them.
- She taught me to go out and have fun with my friends while we still can.
- She taught me to put sunscreen on my face whenever I go out so that I won't get wrinkles when I grow old.
- She taught me to stay grounded. That reaching my goals and being on top doesn't mean I shouldn't look back to where I started.
- She taught me to never lose track of my school priorities and to stay away from influences that will never do me any good.
- She taught me that even if I do good things in others, there will come a time that they will took me for granted and they will say bad things about me. But I just have to forget and move on.
- She taught me to respect old people.
- She taught me to keep things that would remind me of the old times.
- She taught me how to love unconditionally.
Those are some of the things my mom taught me. To some, she may not be the perfect mother, but she makes sure she provides us with the things we need to learn in life.
Happy Mother's Day to you, Mama! On your special day, I will allow you to use my clothes (that will fit you). Thank you for being there for me, for listening to my stories (and most of the time to my nonsense rants), for supporting me with the things I am passionate about especially when it comes to singing, for guiding me, for being a bestfriend and a mother all at the same time. I will forever be your "beautiful" baby. You are the best! I Love You and Happy Mother's Day!
To my grandmother who passed away, Happy Mother's Day to you, Ma! We miss you so much and love you!
