During my mid-high school and mid-college life, I've been a fan of Dawson's Creek, One Tree Hill and Grey's Anatomy. I would spend my Saturday night watching the episodes that I missed. I memorized my favorite lines from the characters and even bought their dvds. OTH and Grey's Anatomy are still airing their new seasons and episodes but I wasn't able to catch up with their stories. I stopped watching OTH when Chad Michael Murray (Lucas Scott) and Hilarie Burton (Peyton Sawyer) were removed from the cast. I think it was season 4 or 5. My main reason is "What's One Tree Hill without Lucas and Peyton?" Though I love Lucas-Brooke Love team, I just couldn't believe that Lucas was no longer in OTH. I think he was the main reason why I watch the series in the first place- Lucas Scott!! Another is it tackled mature roles already, I just want them to be in their High School life forever :)
Grey's Anatomy fits my college life as it is about medical field. It excites me whenever I discover and learn rare diseases and cases in the show. How they treat the patients and all the health related staff. On the other hand, it also tackles love and sex. Yes, they do! I just grew tired of the story as everyone had sex with (pretty much) everyone. Plus, I have to stop watching to make time for my board exam's preparations.
Fast forward to today, I found my new weekly habit.
Glee. I didn't watch Glee on its first match airing episode. When I saw it on commercial, it intrigued me so I searched it online to have a glimpse on its plot. The next thing I knew I bought their dvd, watched it every week and downloaded their version of songs. It's all about high school students in a choir group who wanted to fit in their school and be recognized. Peer pressure, family problems, love life and school dramas are tackled as well. For me Glee makes the best version of songs. Sometimes, I wouldn't appreciate how good the songs are or even know that the song exists not until Glee had their versions of it. They somehow make the songs popular. Glee is on its 3rd season already and they are about to have their graduation; well most of the original casts are about to graduate and it makes me really sad 'cause I don't want it to end or if not, I don't want my favorite characters to leave (like what happened to Lucas and Peyton). I love most of the New Directions' (their choir name) members especially Kurt Hummel. Each one of them makes the story spicier. I think there's 4 episodes left before their graduation :'(
I also watch America's Next Top Model, Survivor, Jane by Design, How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory but not in the level as I'm addicted with Glee and The Vampire Diaries.
Yes, The Vampire Diaries! The Salvatore Brothers! *sneaky smile*. Thanks to my cousin, Nica and my friend, Jean who introduced me to TVD. I saw its commercial but I didn't understand why I wasn't interested with them before. Maybe because I grew tired with the Cullen vamps. But thanks to my persistent cousin who keeps on bugging me to take time to watch, I finally did. I bought dvd and I spent an entire day with its first season. I got hooked! TVD is on its third season. I love The Vampire Diaries because of the Salvatore brothers :) Who wouldn't? Stefan's serious look and Damon's smile melt my heart right away; though I love Stefan more. I remembered my mom said that all the boys of Mystic Falls (the location of TVD) are all good-looking. They sure are! Vampire Diaries is not the typical vampire love story. It has its own twists from witches to wolves to the old Oak wood tree. Okay I'll stop in case I might spoil something.

Glee and TVD complete my weekly habit. I watch them on their weekly schedule and if I have spare time, I watch their replays. They make me happy :)
